Guest guest
Yes,that's my negative, too. Positive:it is light weight, portable and can be carried and used anywhere, even outdoors, with ease. And,it works! Guest guest
This is an excellent leg exerciser.I had one of these devises years ago,but one can easily be made, and you can adjust it to do upper body exercises isometrically as well. Thanks much,Mike. Rich" E. Ross" wrote: If you want to do isos for the legs here is a method Ihave used in the past. Get a strong pole that whenlaid across your back will extend about 8 - 12 inchesbeyond each shoulder. At each end of the pole shouldbe a ring that you can attach a chain to. The chainsrun from the pole down to a base that you stand on.Adjust the length of chain so you can do squats invarious depths. This also is good for a clean andpress type position. You can do curls, military press, toe raises etc.I can't take credit for it, I read it in a book backinthe 70's when I got my first bw.Mike--- BERT HERNANDEZ wrote:> What would be a some good exercise's for legs that> do not use weights...could be bodyweight> exercises...ideas...suggestions.> > By the way by legs do you mean calves as well or> just quads and hamstrings??> > > > > > ---------------------------------> Blab-away for as little as 1/min. Guest guest
I too asked Bully X-treme few questions here are they with answers. Q:Static contraction training states to perform the isometric contraction in your strongest range to involve maximum muscle fibers and by that stimulate the growth. How do you apply this to bullworker training. For example chest press (pressing bullworker by both handle in front your chest) angle is not the strongest range how do you convert it? A:Thank you for your question. In discussing this with the author Mr. Sherrill, he said the following, ?the purpose in writing my book was to answer that type of question... I guess to get the answer the gentleman needs to buy it to get the answer.? Sorry... thanks again BERTZ if I am right you already bought their ebook?. From your review what I came to know is they recommend to do original bullworker exercises from the manual with 100% force. He is asking to buy the pdf’s to know that and he has no money back guarantee on that.To my opinion this item should be a rip off. richard pancoast wrote: Great! Apr-17-06 A: Thank You for question. I hope this answers your questions... 1. The Bully X-treme's tension is to 600 lbs. the X5 is only 400 lbs...don't be surprised if in many exercises, you are not able to compress the Bully. This means you can finally use the Bully for leg exercises and get a great workout. 2. Bully X-treme has a 5 yr warranty...X5 none that we are aware of on ebay or on their website. 3. X5 doesn't offer you the BW extreme training or fat loss programs (read) the ad for more info regarding these bonuses. 4. X5 uses nylon straps..we use cables that are sealed at 25 tons of pressure the Bully X-treme is built to be used hard and to last. 5. The handles for the X5 are made of cheap plastic..we use the old style bullworker handles which are more comfortable and are made of quality High density plastic. 6. The bar section of the X5 is made of cheap plastic, read his feedback, people have received their X5 and found the plastic broken. Bully X-treme's bar section is made of steel and chrome. Overall,we believe the Bully X-treme is built to give you a great workout and to last a long time, something you can pass along...our goal was to make it as good as the old BW's that 30+ yrs later are still around. Not many exercise equipment can make that claim. Finally, we believe we have built the best exercise product in it's class, it's built to our specifications...there is no other like the Bully X-treme..we are so confident that it will do everything for you that we say that it will, that we gave the Bully X-treme a 5 yr. warranty and a risk free offer...try it for 30 days if you don't believe that it knocks the pants off any other product send it back...no questions asked! No we're not crazy we need happy customers and great testimonials...so get in on this ground floor opportunity. Thanks again for your question. Q: i'm a bullworker fan, but...i'm confused..., is the Bully Extreme by Bullworker ENT , from Bullworker U.S.A?, ....or another similiarly named product co. ?? ... and if so, what is the quality like of this product . i know the quality of the original Bullworker...it is exceptional...also, your feedback has no one writing in that they have actually recieved this product. thank you...skeptical...sorry Apr-16-06 A: In response to your email: The Bully X-treme comes wth a 100% money back guarantee and a 5 yr. warranty..no other product like this, to our knowledge, offers this type of coverage. Guest guest
I don't know about that ....look at his feedback..100%! I enjoyed the material I got from him..perhaps it's what you already knew, because you are very well versed on this subject and perhaps if I was as well versed as you I would feel the same., but I didn't feel it was a rip-off . The training manual is over 160 something pages and the fat loss manual is over 279 pages with diet info regarding carbs and nutrients too much to detail here. overall I felt it was worth the money, then again I have spent more then that buy "get rich quick" stuff too...lol I look at this way, if it motivates you to workout and/or if I learn one thing..it's still cheaper then what I spent on my 4 years of college education...and If someone says but you have a da diploma..I can now create one on my computer for a lot less..ha ha -----Original Message-----From: bullworkerclub [mailto:bullworkerclub ]On Behalf Of saravana kumarSent: Monday, April 17, 2006 1:35 PMTo: bullworkerclub Subject: RE: Re: Negatives about the BULLWORKER I too asked Bully X-treme few questions here are they with answers. Guest guest
In Dynaflex,it is recommended that you hold contraction until muscles quiver, and in Vibro-Cise by Dr.ph Kostelnik,he recommends tensing your muscles until they vibrate.Basically the same principle.Dr.Kostelnik writes in Vibro-Cise ,"..how can we be certain of exerting enough force to assure that a particular exercise is beneficial? The answer is in the VIBRATING of the muscle being worked. This is a sure sign--nature's sign--that enough force is being used.Using this principle as a guage,we train but don't strain. It is perfectly natural." He then includes research by Hettinger and Mueller, the College of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Los Angeles, and the University of British Columbia in Canada to back this up.saravana kumar wrote: I too asked Bully X-treme few questions here are they with answers. Guest guest
This is a slightly different point. If you buy the " strongest angle theory " of isometrics, what you have to determine is, for this muscle, were can I generate the most force? You can play with the BW to see what the power meter says but there are literally an unlimited number of angles for a particular muscle. More importantly, there is no isometric research that I have come across that supports the " strongest angle theory " . In fact, the research refutes this theory by virtue of the angle specific nature of isometrics, that is that the muscle is strengthened about 15% either way of where the contraction occurs. Therefore, most reputable researchers have concluded that a series of contractions at different angles produces the most useful and balanced strength. If this author has some data to refute current research, he should present it. I have his material and HE DOES NOT! So, simply put, those who buy his method should simply be aware that it flies in the face of accepted research. If you want to do that, fine. Just know that a claim, is just a claim. Anyone can make one. > > I am writing an article regarding the Bullworker system and I need > some help, so I figured I would throw it out to the list. Questions from other members : New Bully X-treme Gym By Bullworker Ent w/5 yr Warranty Item number: 7235067912 Question & Answer Answered On Q: Whats the difference from the x5 and the extream versions? The Tension is MUCH greater then the X5 or any of the old models...In fact the Bully X-treme has the strongest tension of anything (similar type) on the market! As the ad states what we are doing is offering the Bully X-treme on a prelaunch on ebay, before the public rollout of the product. If you check our feedback, it is 100%. Bullworker USA does not manufacture any product they sell the Bullworker X5 which is manufactured in Japan, we are not affiliated with them... Bully X-treme is all the best of the old BW with much stronger tension up to 600 lbs, the X5 is up to 400lbs...don't be surprised if you can't even compress the Bully X-treme in many of the exercises. This is a New auction just put up on Ebay today.(Sunday April, 2006) I hope I have answered all your questions, if I can be of further help, please email us. In closing...I believe you will find the Bully X-treme is a High Quality product and will surpass your expectations. Guest guest
Bert, I have no problem with you trying to make a few bucks on a routine you put together but stop already with refering to the creator of the BW extreme (you) as another person. I read your review and results from the BW extreme and bought into it, but when "they" sent me an acknowledgement for ordering the cd, it had your name and e-mail address.(oops). Alan RE: Re: Negatives about the BULLWORKER I don't know about that ....look at his feedback..100%!
