He doesn't know how to swallow a pill by itself, but if I tuck the pill (whole) in some applesauce or pudding, he swallows it fine. I give him something to drink immediately afterwards, to make sure it went down. He did ok with the Buspar because it's a fairly small pill. He's also on Prozac liquid for his OCD, and his doctor is trying Buspar to help reduce his anxiety. I hope you can find a way to give your son his medication that will work will for both of you. TOday we put it in his cereal. Thanks to all of you for your ideas. I just found out that The pharmacy can put Buspar in liquid. I have seen it.And if you have an Albertsons near you I guess they have different flavors that they can put meds into. I have yet to check this one out...
