Hello JayRay,

I am diabetic as well and can understand what you are saying. One

thing that really helps me with this problem and it is something a

diabetic can do is take extra- virgin olive oil. Besides getting the

ole track working smoothly it is good for your blood. I take two

tablespoonfulls in the am and two in the pm. For the taste factor I

use a little lemon juice in each dose.

OK now that we are getting regular in that department. Fresh veggies

vs frozen or canned. Fresh veggies retain more of what you are

eating them for than frozen or canned. Steam fresh veggies to retain

even more of their nutrients rather than boiling or baking. Always

use fresh veggies over frozen and frozen over canned. This applies

to fruits as well.

Keep them cards and letters coming.

Hope this helps.

Water, water, everywhere....

I've also been taking magnesium with fiber tablets. I was told to

take the supplement until the problem " ran away. " For me it is

500mg/day but others take more or less.

Has anyone else heard of the magnesium supplement for constipation?

3 Cheers,

try stool softeners, I take them every day and have had little or no trouble at

all. Walgreens brand works well and are not that expensive. Good luck
