Guest guest
Numero'. Thank to SWOE we all can know the numbers of the definition of BPD. Doctors still pay almost no attention to BPD because there is no good effective treatment for this disorder. Bp's who do not want to change themselves get no care. The disorder is too complex to be treated by laymen. ******** I think unforutnately this is very very true. I think some BP's do not realize that they need to change, I know my nada doesn't have a clue. I don't even know if anyone has bothered to sit her down and tell her what is wrong with her, I had to figure it out for myself. I think that through these developments for new generations it will stay still difficult to reach a situation that there will be no KO's anymore. Perhaps will a new paradigm arise in the near future. *********** I think you are probably right that finding a generation of no KO would be difficult until society changes to the point where we no longer allow verbal abuse and where society has woken up to the fact that neglect comes in different forms. THe third thing would be that reazlieng that while families aren't perfect however there are times when the imperfection leads to disaster for the family I hate the 'write-off' part of bein a KO with doctors, when a doctor knows about her problem and they automatically seem to write me off the same way. The doctors I get along with are able to separate us, however there was one that neglected my complaints prboably because my mother complained too much. Because the use of rigid medical criteria hinder/stand in the way the glance/look and prevent every definition. The medical attitude with regard to hysteria/bpd exists out of two contraries: On the one side the by all doctors well-known rejection-attitude expressed in: " They are no legitimate/real/regular sick persons. " Opposite which on the otherside the attitude of psychiatrists stands, who together with their patients feel themselves exclude, so not out of the medical field, after all out the brotherhood of doctors. They affirm: " Hysteria/bpd is an illness like all other illnesses. " Psychiatrists suffer under the by the society to mental patients imposed/set Apartheid. The above affirms again that the disorder hysteria/bpd is too complex to be treated by laymen. Thanks to SWOE and other books we can now -as layman ! - make selff a psychiatric-label for our mental ill family members, and consider further our own attitude to that. Happy turn of the year to everone. Gerard The most above is to be read in the booklet: 'L'Hysterique, le sexe et le médecin.' > > > > Numero'.
