Mine always tried to prevent or bust up healthy relationships, and

up until I left home she generally succeeded. By then I didn't know

what a healthy relationship was and continued to make mistakes on my

own.

On the other hand, she tried to put me together with really messed

up people. It was sort of a religious zeal for her, like I was

supposed to solve all their problems to justify my existence.

My nada is way too wrapped up in herself to try to do something like

you described. But I have heard some similar stories on this board.

It sounds like your nada is up against some people who are not just

going to take everything she says as truth! too bad for her! LOL.

Isn't it a relief to come across some people who can see this

craziness for what it is?
