Guest guest
Thank you so much, , for your kind and very helpful reply. You gave me a lot to think about. I am very new in this hypo-journey, and have much to learn. I admit I want to quickly get from Point A (not feeling well) to Point B (feeling decent again). I saw a glimmer of progress when I first started taking the Armour, but it seems to have been short lived, and truthfully, I'm starting to feel really bad again. However, I will try to count my blessings.... 1. I actually found a doctor who would fun a full thyroid panel (except Reverse T3, which I had no idea needed to be checked). 2. Doctor agreed to try me on Armour, though it is not her first choice, and I'm unsure if she will help me find my optimal dose or switch to another form of natural thyroid if Armour isn't working. 3. Doctor recognized FT3 as low. I had finally talked another doctor into running a FT3 test back in 2006, but when the number came back at the VERY BOTTOM OF " in range " he said I was " fine " even though I was definately NOT fine. So, progress is that this current doctor " believed " me (isn't it a shame to have to type that?)and agreed to hormone replacement. 4. I have found this very helpful group. I'm learning a lot, and am grateful! Maybe someday I'll know enough to be able to help others. Again, thank you , as it helped to know about your son and his experience witn starting Armour. I will post my labs when I get them...guess I will just have to wait and see what happens next. Blessings, Spoon
