Guest guest
Hi ,Sounds like you have a great Hubby! I do too.I got EN at 21 and didn't meet my Hubby until I was 25, so I'd already had several bouts. After I met him. I finally got properly diagnosed around age 26. By then I had already figured out the "bedrest treatment " on my own. My dermy asked me how I treated my EN and I told him I "just sleep it off". He said I had a mild case and to keep doing whatever worked. I've been doing it for nearly 38 yrs. now. Thanks for the compliment on the Group site. Yes, I have put in a lot of time and effort. I think all EN will eventually be traced to a genetic flaw, so in that case we inherit it before we are even born. I like to think God gave this to me to make me into a better person, and to help others. If a cure were found tomorrow, I would look for the next task to work on. Guest guest
Hi , I'm so happy to hear from you! I've been thinking of you this last week and hoping you were ok. On the 13th my girlfriend's sister died of breast cancer after a 5 yr. battle, and I've been so preoccupied that I didn't email you the times you came to mind. I guess we really feel our mortality when friends our age die, and I was remembering when you told me your friend died, although you were much closer to your friend than I was to . My leg is doing better since I found the " balance ball elevaton " I use a very large ballance ball on the sofa to elevate my legs. I have been napping that way, and it's quite comfy. We've taken in a small tuxedo cat and he likes to sleep on my tummy as I use the balance ball. I think he knows when I am " on the ball " I will not be getting up for a while :-). Wishing you a Happy Day, my Friend! Love,
