Guest guest
I recently started using liquid Carnosine again after not using it for a good year. We have had great gains! He is so much more aware of everything. Just now noticing things that have been on the walls. He is playing with dolls and bears now. Hugging and kssing them, making them dance. Before he would just drop them on the floor. Now he even sleeps with them! He shook his head "yes" for the first time yesterday. (He has had "no" down already.) He is trying to talk much more and getting more parts of words he used aproximations for. His teacher said he is "talking up a storm" there too. He started saying "hi" this week and even says it unprompted. It's crazy. We have not seen a single bad side effect from it. I am interested in trying the patches that are tallked about on this board so much. But we are having great success with the liquid for now. ~ -------------- Original message -------------- Anybody has any experience using L-Carnosine? Any gains or side effects can be advised? Guest guest
I was kind of wondering that. My son has constipation issues. I have not found my cure to that yet so I have been carefully reading what you have been posting. I am thinking of trying the hydro C. His gut is better than it was. He does still have the constipation but some days is actually doing great. Diet was huge for my kids. It has just about healed my daughter in a matter of months. My son is a tougher nut to crack. But since this is the first time doing this since focusing on diet-I don't doubt that has a big part in seeing the difference. The liquid Carnosine even has magnesium in it I believe. (bottle is too far for me to check this moment.) As much as my daughter has improved , her issues are still there. She is still underweight and has circles under her eyes. I really need to get some weight on her. She has gotten a lot taller now and it really shows how much she needs some fat on her body. I am hoping that will come as her gut heals, but she needs some pounds on asap! Anyway, we definitely didn't see htese results with the carnosine before. He is asking to do high fives now and before we couldn't even get him to do it if we asked. He also will get his sippy if I ask him which he never did before. He would trip over it as I was asking for it and I swear it was like he didn't even understand what I was asking. Now he will get it and actually look for it. I wish I added the carnosine back in sooner! ~ -------------- Original message -------------- , the guy in Ny says that when the inflamation in the gut comes down and the mucousal lining heals, suddenly, quite suddenly - it is like there is a tipping point foods theat did nothing - the nutrition from them is now absobed even though stools were formed from them and passed before - but nothing was getting "in" - this holds true of supplements as well...did your kid have gut issues? Guest guest
I have not given glutathione for a little while here. (I ran out.) And I started the Carnosine after I stopped the glutathione. I have not been supplementing with Zinc. I did just find some vitamins I lost that are still good so I will be adding that back tomorrow and that has zinc. But I am not sure if they mean a higher dose than that would be. So he has had a couple weeks without a multi and was doing fine. I wonder if adding the zinc will really start things moving. I believe vitamin E helps it work better too but would have to double check on that. --------- Re: Carnosine side effectTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Saturday, July 12, 2008, 8:30 PM I recently started using liquid Carnosine again after not using it for a good year. Guest guest
Everything he says does make sense. What a wonderful thing if this truly heals their guts!!! I will definitely give you a call but probably next week after we move. With everything going on now I can barely think straight. And I keep thinking of questions but ten minutes later can't remember them! Moving is so stressful! (and we are only going across town!) -------------- Original message -------------- Ha - check my post as of today, it is not like this is smooth sailing...I will let you know what he says, but no - there is nothing else except the liquid protein as a meal replacement. I mean to ask him why that does not set off digestion, but have not yet? IT seems the strategy is to keep stuff out of the intestines most of the day and to stop these kids from digesting 12-18 hours a day so that healing will happen, and develpment can resume bc digestion which the body is going to do first, period, then fight infections, then deal with metals, then deal with learning anything new...that is the cue and the body will not violate its own design, no matter how much we wish it to do so...IF I am understanding him correctly. We support with more and better things as soon as they can digest AND assimialte the nutrition from them...digestion and elimination without assimilation of nutrition is a huge energy waster, per him. Hence he BR>wants it done only at night. you can call me as I know it is a hassle to email...Di > > > >> > > > I recently started using liquid Carnosine again after not using > > it > > > for a good year. Guest guest
That will be a good idea, e if you could add some zinc with your carnosine. I have read some Dr.'s or lab's article about zinc will compliment carnosine's function better. Plus, giving suffecient zinc per day is also helping complete methylation cycle and work out better in speech and cognition development. I don't think you need to use extra doesgae of zinc, I will stay with the proper volume of zinc for children. Too much zinc will cause stomach irritation as well. Thanks, Re: Carnosine side effect THe liquid is predigested and amino acids only - there is nothing to set off the mechanisms...he idnlt tell me that but I base it on the published info - so this is what lets you miss those two meals without issues and speeds healing....Di > > > > > > > > > > I recently started using liquid Carnosine again after not > using > > > it > > > > for a good year.
