Dear Dorothy, On behalf of all our members, welcome to our Erythema Nodosum Group! Thanks for sending in your Questionnaire. I have added the information to our “Member Medical History” Files on the Group site and posted it below. You now have Full EN Group privileges. You are receiving Daily Digest EN Group emails, and you can also go to the Erythema Nodosum Group Site: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/erythema_nodosum_Group/ whenever you like and logging on with your Yahoo ID and secret password. You do not have to have the group emails delivered to be a member here. Getting EN at your age is rather unusual, but not unheard of. You have several other health conditions, so I wonder if any meds may

be causing the EN in your case. Potassium Iodide (SSKI) is a medication that does help many of us, although I have never tried it. I am 58 and have never taken meds for EN. I am one of the lucky ones who goes into remission with rest and leg elevation alone. I've had EN 37 yrs. You don't state that you have thyroid disorders, so SSKI would be safe to try. You will know within a short time-probably[ less than a month] if it is working. If it doesn't, don't take it longer as it can cause thyroid problems if you continue it. I'm glad that you found us!
