I'm an X NYer myself. I was born in Brooklyn and moved to CA. in '72.

I've had EN for the past 37 yrs. At first the doctor said I had

phlebitis, but he was wrong. Still I find wearing an anti-embolism

stocking to be helpful.

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have

EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group. Combined

with vasculitis – painful nodules on feet, ankles, legs, arms & hands,

high fevers, fatigue, joint pains, overall achiness, elevated SED rate

6. List any other health conditions. Vasculitis – medium sized veins

– superficial thrombophlebitis both legs – anemia – high blood pressure

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness: Since 4/05, Prednisone (started at 40 mg. & have flare

ups each time I go below 20 mg.) Added Imuran 150 mg. 3 wks. Ago &

already had flare up & still developing lumps. Will continue w/this

few more wks. – if no help, dr. may switch to methotextrate. Also

take Fosamax cause of prolonged use of prednisone & prilosec to help

prevent ulcers.
