Guest guest
Yesterday, I saw my gp for a surgical clearance. They did an EKG and it showed that my heart was skipping a beat and then making a strong beat. I have noticed these strong beats as it physically moves my chest. The gp said it was not that uncommon and at my age (39) you usually don't do anything about it. Today, I am going to be wearing a holter monitor for 24 hours to see what is going on. I thought my strong heart palps were either thyroid or adrenal related. Especially since I have noticed them more since having to change my thyroid meds so much over the last few months. GP said no, not related to thryoid or adrenal glands. Any ideas? Thanks,
