I do have Rheumatic Fever.

- take me off the Idiopathic list.....it's been Strep all this time. I'm so happy to have found the reason for my EN. It is bittersweet though. Kwim?

He said my titers were almost 700 when normal is 200. There was another test that was in the 1000's and he said it indicates current strep infection.

I called my reg dr and left him a message....I wonder what he'll say when he calls me back.

I have to take Erythremiacian (sp?) for a year or so, depending on how I recover....but a strong course for the next 10 days to get rid of the strep. He said I'd be better off taking a pill than a shot....the shot isn't as effective as pill he said. I have to see him in a month to repeat the tests and at that time I'll ask about other things. So if you have anything you want me to ask him...let me know and I'll keep it handy for then.
