Well, I sort of have my "revenge" now, in that I work in a field where accuracy is necessary to keep your job. I type medical reports, including quite a few radiology reports. I remember a supervisor telling us, "People go into surgery based on these reports." Now, if I make a mistake, *I* get in trouble. You're welcome -- no problem. At least I can feel "safe" with an occasional correction around other Aspies (maybe they appreciate it as I do)? Not so with my 5th grade teacher. I corrected her spelling three times on the first day of school. Ouch! If I had known then what I know now.....
