Guest guest Posted June 1, 1999 Report Share Posted June 1, 1999 Hi all, We had a great day today!!! We got the IV in ONE stick!!!! We were so happy!!!! Here's what we did this time, besides have him drink tons....We had the nurse stick him BEFORE she premedicated. Remember when we all spoke about antihistimines constricting the blood vessels, well I don't kow if it was that but....it worked. So anyways, she stuck, premedicated, then hooked up the IG. If anyone else tries this, let me know.... Autumn, hope the boys recover quickly. How do you feel about hospitalization? Personally, I feel that it's a relief at times. I feel like it's constant professional help as opposed to being at home going...Should I take him in???....But at the same time it's not fun, your whole life comes to a stand still.
