new to group- rash questions

Hi everyone,

Can someone forward be an old post or file about what to expect the

first 60 days on Valtrex? My son has been on it for about 4 weeks

and now there is a rash on his inner thighs, and belly. Its red and

oblong, but not itchy.

We have increased his dose of probiotics to keep his yeast down- but

he is acting differently. He is sharper, and seems more alert- but

lately he sits on his swing set and stims for about 20 minutes. He

is quite- just looking at the sky and flicking his fingers- which

has increased since we started the Valtrex. Is this a good thing?

Is his body reacting to the virus and making him have behaviors that

were not present last month?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
