Guest guest
I’m reaching out to the VERY resourceful TFC group and need an answer fairly quickly. J I have a pre transplant patient who had a colonoscopy. Well as a result of the colonoscopy the patient needed a polypectomy. From my understanding, KACC stops paying AFTER the colonoscopy. I thought the polypectomy would be considered treatment. My director told me that we would be responsible for the charges for the polypectomy. Well, as a result of the polypectomy the bowel was perforated. So now does that make us responsible for those charges as well?! Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much everyone!! ez Transplant Financial Coordinator NAMC Renal Transplant Center 12221 North Mopac Expressway Austin, Texas 78758 Phone - Fax - monica.martinez@...
