Right now I am drinking like a fish and still have the dry hacking/barking cough that is not good for asthmatics. My peak flows today are 50pts lower than yesterday. The predominant pollen is grass, but its at a low count here. Theres no impending storms in the area and the air quality is not registering bad. I cant believe that the cats are the root cause of all this b/c Ive had them for 6 yrs now and one would think that the reactions would have started back then...but in reality I was worse off before the cats b/c I had bronchitis all the time...Which I dont get nearly as often now. My friend came up with the idea that mold might be the issue...but I dont know how mold is in this area.

The other thing Im wondering about is palmetto bugs. We have lots of them here and they do get in the house...where the cats half kill them and leave for us to find. I wonder if they have the same effect as cockroaches do in regards to asthma? We kill or kick out at least 2 or 3 a week...particularly after it rains. has sprayed for bugs around the house which does minimize them coming in for awhile. Could it be the heat? Its been 95 to 105 degrees every day for the past week.

My own thoughts are that its something environmental because all of a sudden in the past 2 weeks Ive been a wreck. Today I didnt do my workout at the gym b/c I had to sit and rest after walking to my truck after work. Thats just not normal for me at all. I decided it was wiser to just come home and relax. I dont know that it made much difference though..Im still trying to hack up half a lung with no success.

Wish me luck tomorrow at the doctors. Sorry I keep whining about it..but dang this just isnt right. I had a steroid shot in the butt 2 weeks ago and it doesnt seem to have done a whole lot for very long..although it definitely helped at the begining.
