I get tons of spam on my yahoo account...which is not where these mails go to. I have spam blockers set up supposedly on that account but I have over 300 emails in yahoo...all of them spam. I go in every so often and dump the entire mail box. In AOL, where my mail goes, I rarely get spam emails..except when school is out and just after christmas when everyone gets new computers/phones etc. The one thing I do not like about the new free aol accounts is that it automatically adds any screennames associated with an email to my contacts list. So..in other words, if sent an email to Matt, Madeline, and some of his friends that I do not know and did not blind copy these poeple, they are now in my contacts list. That being said, I still have far less problems with AOL than I do my yahoo email.

Currently there is one going around that says something regarding a shipment that was unable to be delivered and the email claims to be from either UPS or FED EX. It is a virus...this is the real deal. You can read more about it on Snopes.com. I check most forwarded emails through snopes, especially ones that claim kids are missing or a specific celebrity did something...most of the time they are false.
