Has anyone ever considered that the pain you are experiencing may be coming directly from the problems in your neck? Until recently, I lived with almost constant severe eye, head, sinus and neck pain. The docs kept trying to find problems in my skull, but it turned out that the pain was originating from the nerves in my neck. I have a couple of messed up neck disks, cervical stenosis, ddd etc. I spent years trying to find out why my head hurt constantly. I've been through all sorts of PT, antibiotics, tests, scans, tried all sorts of meds, etc. Then last fall, I hooked up with a very good chronic pain physician who is also a surgeon and an anaesthesiologist. I have had two radio frequency neurotomies done to the full length of my neck and have experienced quite a bit of relief. I still have headaches almost all the time, but compared to what they were, these ones are usually pretty minor. (by my standards). I still get migraines, but that's a whole different matter. > Tell me.... HOW do you control your pain?????? When my head, neck and shoulder pain get out of control, I haven't found anything that has any kind of lasting effect. Drugs will numb it, but never actually make it subside. Have you had the opportunity to meet with a good chronic pain doc? -- Lyndi

The Dr. won't give me stronger because my problem will get worse as I age. Just try and fine a good Dr. and talk to him. Pain is a fiend. I am sorry for your pain. d.berg
