Guest guest
Wendie, I went threw that period also where your fine one minute and crying the next. That's normal. Go with your heart on her therapies you don't have to bombard her with them at first go with what you have set up , and then give it some time to see what happens. How old is your daughter again? We don't do anyting , but pre-school , private speech and O.T. twice a week. Of course she gets that in school also , but that's not nearly enough. Have you tried family resources? If your insurance will not pay for doctor visits are they paying for therapies? That's horrible! We had the same problem with S.S.I and medicaid! Do what you can afford , and just research your county for services have you contacted a support group? The best advice always comes from others in your situation. I hope things get easier for you it just takes time this is all new. It took me a year to even comprehend what autism really is , and I still don't know that much. Every child is so different you are in the right place though! Hang in there le
