Use your cs.mgr to get to the case mgr, supervisor/ trainer, have that person get involved w/getting THEIR patient completely approved by their system. The Case Managers there were very helpful. The contract I am looking at shows LifeTrac customer service option 2… or you could try Lori , Senior Txp clinical consultant @ just to see if she might be able to help. Hope this helps! Apparently she can access her multiplan network and not have to utilize Lifetrac, but she was able to put me in touch with the correct person at Harvard Pilgrim to handle it. Thanks! Theirpayment policy specifically states that they pay an all inclusivenegotiated rate for transplant. I have been going back and forth withtheir contracting department for over a week. The initially said itwould be FFS, but it contradicts their policy. I have been trying to getclarification from them, and the contracting department states theydon't do that and I have to go through multiplan. Multiplan left me amessage stating that "she cant imagine what I would need" and will notreturn any more phone calls, and either will Harvard Pilgrimscontracting dept. We sent them notification of the transplant a weekago, and they do show it on file, but they refuse to tell us at whatrate they will pay this transplant at, or refer me to the correctpeople. Apparently she can access her multiplan network and not have to utilize Lifetrac, but she was able to put me in touch with the correct person at Harvard Pilgrim to handle it. Thanks!
