A very helpfull site for cronic back pain

I know that many of us have back problems. I for one have many

problems that need specific care. I use this web site for knowledge

before I go to my doctor. When you have questions about your symtoms

& can express them to your doctor ( your understanding of your

condition ) You may find like me that your doctor is a quack!!!! Ask

the questions & study all the site prior to your doctor visit. Cronic

pain does lead to depression & the pain problems must first be taken

care of prior to the mental problems that arise. Feel free to ask

your doctor for a referal to a spine specialist if you seem to not

get the treatment you really need. Many of the problems we have

result in spinal disorders or diseases. Many doctors are not

specificaly trained in this issue. I have studied this site intensely

& have found many articles relating to my problems.

I recently went to a " shrink " & she admited that I have mental problems due to

severe back pain & needed treatment for that problem to eleviate the mental

stress. Suicide, high blood preasure, migrain head aches among other

factors are involved. If you are suffering from mental problems due

to the pain, See a psycologist. I won my SSI at least for a short

term doing just this. Meds are not the answer & doctors seem to think

it is in our heads many times. Addiction to many of the meds are

frequent & should be avoided. Get the real help you need in your

problem & seek the professionals that understand the problem & can

treat it correctly. Meds may mask the problem but understanding it is

up to you & a rwal doctor that knows the problems & can treat them.
