Guest guest
I’ve heard others say that they need less thyroid after eating gluten free. Both my daughter and I have needed the same thyroid amount. Both of us have been GF for over a year. I guess we’re all different. But it's irrelevant. I've felt crappy since before the thryoidectomy 5 years ago. I have a sleep disorder (not apnea) and I'm always tired. It's hard to tell how I feel otherwise. No, I didn't take meds before the blood draw. It was fasting, so nothing before hand. I had coffee and a snack and meds waiting in the car, lol. The explanation about RT3 makes sense, Jan. Thanks. I read in a recent post that someone recently went gluten-free and had to lower their meds. I went gluten-free at the first of the year. However the FT3 was high before that, so not sure it made a difference there. Thanks for the comments. Betsy > > > Did you take your meds before the blood draw?
