People with BPD can be VERY violent. Scary violent. You have a reason to be

afraid, not trying to scare you. You have a reason to be afraid for your

father and sister. And if she splits you as bad and gets fantasies in her mind

about you trying to " take her family' you have reason to be afraid for

yourself and the well being of your family.

Im so sorry your father is caught in this Hell. I barely know my

stepfather but he told me what my nada is doing to him and he is Hell also. I

fear

for him. He fears she may kill him one day. He should. She has alienated him

from all of his friends and even his family by putting on her " super mother

teresa act to outsiders "

I suspect your step mother may eventually do the same. Just be there for

your dad and let him know he is not alone in the world. And dont ever send

your kids there for unsupervised vacations with Grandpa.

Last month I had my mother picked up by cops and put in a pysch ward

after she called me drunk threatening suicide, saying her husband was poisoning

her and all sorts of ridiculous things. I was not in fear for her but fear

for what she may do to OTHERs in the house. She got into a minor argument with

stepdad, flew into rage , ransacked her room, then yanked his four year old

grandbaby ( not my nadas grandchild) out of her little bed and drug her into

the living room to scream and swear at her and scream and swear at my stepdad

in front of her. There is no way that child wont be traumatized....

My nada traumatized her own kids into one ending up killing herself.

I willnot sugar coat it. these people can be more dangerous than you can

ever imagine....

Be there for your dad, give him a shoulder to lean on, an ear to confide

in. Dont tell him what to do. These BPD people have a very powerful and

manipulative hold over people. He may be too manipulated by his wife to leave

or

just too scared of the bitch.

DO step in if you think he or your sister are in immediate danger. Call

the cops if you suspect child abuse on your sister and DO have bruises

documented. Dont turn a blind eye on that. Often these mothers will be so good

at

playing the system and people even if a child does speak out the mother can

twist everything around and get away with it. This makes the BPD feel even more

powerfull and validated. If she is hurting your sister YOU may be the only

one who can save this girl. And save your father in doing so.

Dont ever turn a blind eye. I did and One of my sisters ended up

hanging from a closet rack. but I wont anymore and I bet my nada thinks twice

before she does anything to my other sister...

Getting the BPD behavior documented as in police or hosp records is the

first step in stopping it and taking control back. Even if they snow the

police and hosp people the first time, well if anything else happens the cops

and others will put two and two together.

I hope your situation is not as urgent as this . Perhaps you can get your

dads work address and send him a copy of, " I Hate You, Dont Leave Me. " Its

a book about being married to a BPD.

Godspeed with you
