Not

aware of the test, but try checking in CCAP if Medicare requires an ABN

Glor

permeability assay test

Our surgeon is looking at implanting a change to

perform a blood test on a select few (pre-transplant) patients. It is a special

test (permeability assay ) diagnosis would be Focal and Segmental

Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) . this test is only done at a specific lab and the

cost is $500 per test. Can we perform this test, apply to the KACC for

reimbursement from Medicare? Do you know if this test is covered by Medicare?

Are there any centers out there that are currently performing this test and if

so what diagnosis and CPT codes are you using? Any information you can share

will be appreciated.
