I've taken on a lot more challenges, and am trying to communicate with others in many different environments, etc. One of my problems is all the chaos from Nada got to me early on -- and when there's confusion, bordering on chaos, my fleas start popping out! I like things to be flexible... but reasonably orderly! When there's disorder my fleas start flying around and biting me and others. Well... I'll get more specific when I have more time. If I don't like certain qualities about someone or especially if they seem to be a threat to me in any way, every now and then, I'll split them and think of them in with complete negativity. I have to remind myself that we are all flawed and it is not healthy to be judgemental (something all of us KO's got plenty of). I even wonder if I split my Nada into all bad-mother. I try to look for good qualities, but it is seriously difficult. I'll keep trying. I have also been aware of how much judgement I have recieved from Nada all my life. Our Nadas try to play God, and what's more frightening is that their distoted versions of Good and Evil result in unpredictible and illogical condemnation. So, naturally I learned to be my own judge of good and evil (equally dangerous) to prevent her wrath. I also adopted many unhealthy motivational skills. Basically, do what you have to do to stay safe, say and " believe " and do whatever she wants. Never did I even consider doing or believing something because it was best for me or God's will for me. Always Nada. I am so thankful that I can see past this distortion and finally experiemce real maturity. I still judge myself all the time which breeds guilt and shame, but at least I can see it for what it is, a lie and a distortion of the truth. Many times it has been in a period of growth....the fleas know they are about to be 'dipped' or 'powdered', and they are making a last ditch effort to save their own lives (at the expense of my mental well being, of course).
