Guest guest
Sorry I've been absent . . . saw the exchange about me between Jeff and and thought I'd better get my butt into a post right quick. Moving to VA has been just crazy, as I'm sure any of you can imagine . . . especially feeling as lousy as we all usually do. Long story short . . . I feel like crap, but at about 90% moved in, kids are happy, husband is happy . . . life is good. As most of you know, I had my happy lumps multiplying for over a year non-stop, went through all the tests probably 4 times over, no trigger found. Since they stopped appearing, I've been wracked with the malaise and what I call " total body tendinitis " and " ghost pain " where the lumps used to be. My doc put me on an old anti-depressant, deciding I had Fibromyalgia . . . told me I wasn't sleeping deep enough due to the pain and I needed this particular drug to do the trick. I was never happy with that diagnosis, doing the research and all . . . but the dang stuff actually worked. Well . . . it also made me fat . . . so I've gone off it recently and been trying to work out and take vitamins . . . at the moment, it's kickin my butt . . . but hoping I'll win this fight. Whenever I try to do something healthy, my body rejects the idea . . . such a royal pain in the butt, this auto- immune crap, huh? So . . . here I am . . . I'm alive . . . getting kicked . . . so, if anyone out there knows of a good auto-immune specialist near Richmond, VA?? Heck, I'll settle for a family doctor! I'd greatly appreciate some ideas. . . . I tried to change my email address backstage, but couldn't do it. My new, personal email is msbouchey@... . If you could change that for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll try to stay in touch a bit more . . . lots of new members to get to know. Again . . . sorry for the absense! Didn't want my PG Buddy to worry =) Shins up, Peeps!! M =)
