Guest guest
, I use 1/8 cup of skim milk everyday (as a creamer for my AM coffee jolt. Yes, I measure it. LOL ). Just make sure you are counting your milk as your carb. Oatmeal with milk may give you too many carbs. Remember it's a fist size carb with a palm size protein. I know, hard to do with oatmeal, but just something to consider. Glenda > During all of my reading about the BFL program, I don't recall > reading anything about milk. I love milk! Guest guest
Thanks Glenda! It looks like I'll start making my oatmeal with water instead. -- In bodyforlife@y..., " bcnuatthegym " <muscleprincess@c...> wrote: > , > I use 1/8 cup of skim milk everyday (as a creamer for my AM coffee > jolt. Guest guest
You could wean yourself down....using more water to milk every time. Might be better for yo than going cold turkey. _jennifer > > > During all of my reading about the BFL program, I don't recall > > > reading anything about milk. I love milk! Guest guest
Or, here's another option for the oatmeal - make it with 1/3c dry oatmeal instead of 1/2 c. and then you can still have 1/2 c. milk with it and the calories will stay the same. I would caution you against drinking milk with your meals though - those calories add up fast, particularly since your body doesn't " register " liquid calories like it does solid calories. In other words, you don't get any satiety factor from liquid calories, so you end up taking in more calories than you should for fat loss. I used to drink skim milk several times per day, and now I only drink it about once a month with cookies *winks at my cookie-buddy Jeff* Jen B. > During all of my reading about the BFL program, I don't recall > reading anything about milk.
