We had more luck switching to homemade picture/story books after we

started getting resistance to the cards. We have had tremendous

success with those. With my 7yo we didn't put pictures in the

stories because she started worrying more about the pictures than the

story. My 4yo still needs pictures in her stories though.

> Just wondering how many of you use picture schedules and if yu have

any new ideas using them. We use them and has started hiding

the toilet card <G> What a silly guy he is! Anyway I found a year or

so ago a web site with free printable pictures , any other websites

out there??Thought maybe a different pic would be helpful for him. He

is very verbal but seeing the schedule pictured for him helps him

alot eg: to go to the store (yuk, hate that trip!) I use *car/van*

*store* *no running* *car/van* and as long as I do not try to slip

in a surprise trip he is fairly even tempered (which does not mean he

will not take the pop tarts out of a cart near us and try to put them

in ours!) But h probably will not do the " K-Mart backstroke " on the

floor as we try to shop.
