Guest guest
I take the levothroid sublingually as that gets it directly in my system without having to be absorbed in my gut. When I was taking the T4/T3 orally, it didn't seem to do anything at all. There are a couple reasons for this. 1) those of us with low thyroid typically have a low body temperature. A normal body temperature is needed for our bodies to produce the enzymes necessary to digest foods or to absorb meds. 2) There is medical research showing that folks with Hashi's have difficulty absorbing the T4/T3. And, as I often " preach " celiac disease goes along with the same genes that predispose one to hashi's. So, having difficulty absorbing anything is extremely common. Now, I'm experiencing rapid heart rate and rise in blood pressure and suspect the Levothyroxine but unsure. So, I'm seeking opinions if others have experienced this. > > > Thanks. > > > > > >
