Guest guest
Duck feathers? That sounds like a bunch of Bull Feathers to me. . . . >> I just got off the phone with the pharmacist at 's Compounding Pharmacy in Sugarland and here's a new one on me! Their ad in a local magazine said they had an alternative to Armour. So I asked him what they were using? Was it dessicated thyroid?> > He said it was a 'natural' T4 alternative. He had called the manufacturer to inquire what it was made from and was told it was DUCK FEATHERS. He wouldn't tell me the manufacturer and didn't know if it was made in the U.S., so I couldn't get much more info. The T3 they use in compounding was synthetic, so more like Cytomel or generic.> > I've never heard of T4 being made of Duck Feathers and haven't seen it mentioned on ANY other thyroid chat site. Has anyone heard of this???? So now we not only have Oink-Oink.....we have Quack-Quack!!>

Guest guest
I think I'm going to e-mail Shamon and ask her if she's ever heard anything about this Duck based T4. Since she is in constant contact with the Dessicated Thyroid suppliers and seems to be the guru-ess of thyroid on many of the sites, if anyone knows anything about this she would. I'll let you know if/when she replies. > To: Texas_Thyroid_Groups > Date: Fri, 5 Mar 2010 02:17:19 +0000> Subject: Re: Now We've Got Quack-Quack???> > That's scary and hysterical.
