It is an exciting time for high quality training in the learning sciences.

At the New School for the Learning Sciences (www.nsls.com), a nonprofit,

Internet-based institution offering advanced training in the learning

sciences from scientists and scholars throughout the world, for parents,

students and learners throughout the world, is now offering QuickStudy

instruction. The NSLS QuickStudy Courses are brief, non-credit intensive

on-line courses taught by individuals who have extensive backgrounds in the

areas presented. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) may be offered for

A course specifically designed for parents and caregivers of children with

autism and other developmental disabilities to teach specifically what

behavioral principles are and how they are positively and effectively used

to help children at home and in school!

***Behavior Analyst Certification Exam Preparation

This course will help prepare individuals to pass the national behavior

analyst certification exam. The course will address all aspects of applying

for, sitting for, and passing the exam, with an emphasis on content and

strategy. An initial self-test practice exam will be administered and

detailed feedback will be provided to pinpoint individual strengths and

weaknesses in each of the specific exam

content areas. The course will also provide content area reviews and

extensive on-line multiple choice practice items, as well as test-taking

strategies for maximizing one's test score. This is intended as a review of

behavior analysis and assumes prior formal training in the field.
