Ho ho, maybe FlyLady can help? http://www.flylady.net/ I think Fly Lady was a KO, too. Lots of us KOs lived in chaos and hadn't learned from our nadas how to get organized/fly. I cleaned my kitchen sink today. - Edith
Guest guest
What an interesting observation, Edith. It does look like " flylady " was a child in a very chaotic situation. Especially when you consider everything is precisely measured by " days " and " how long it takes to retain a routine " .........I am the opposite. I think we either are flyladies, or like me, there is a method to my disorganizational madness (my nada could never find a damn thing in my room growing up). > >Reply-To: ModOasis >To: ModOasis >Subject: Re: Re: the peace may be over >Date: Thu, 03 Jun 2004 22:28:36 -0700 > >foundmy wrote: > > > ... Guest guest
Rosie, I am very sorry for not answering this before now. I have been unable to check my email lately as I am learning a new thing. I am very determined to do it right. I am learning the accounting part of my husbands job. He is buying a tractor trailer truck. He has to keep up with everything else & I have to do the book work. I know more about book keeping ( I have had an accounting class 20 years ago) & he is a better trucker than I am. So he is doing what he does best & I am doing what I do best. I am a little on the rusty side so I will be getting some books to relearn what I have forgotten & then continue to go farther. I am finding that the more I mess with it the more I remember. I wish that I still had a copy of the cassette tapes I made of my professors teachings back then. Unfortunately those things got broken when precious dirty little hands stuck them into little mouths & fingers pulled out all the string they found inside. At one time I tried to do flylady. There were too many emails & I could never be on line when I needed to do this or that. I tried digest, but they were too long & I never got them when I needed them. I have found the best & quickest method to getting anything done is to just pitch in and get the job done. My biggest problem is that I get sidetracked by the kids a lot & I have a lot to do. There's cleaning the house, homeschooling the kids, they volunteer at the library so they have to go on a call. I now have paperwork to do, papers to grade & file, lessons to plan, Among all the other mommy things there are to do & I am stretched thin enough, but when my arthritis & other bone, muscle, & joint problems flair up, I get way behind again. I will find a better way for me in getting the stuff done that I need to get done. I have also had a lot of stomach problems lately. the more my stomach bothers me the more tired I seem to stay. But thank you for the thoughtful suggestion. Debbie K Re: Re: the peace may be over > >Date: Thu, 03 Jun 2004 22:28:36 -0700 > > > >foundmy wrote: > > > > > ...
