Guest guest
I think I’ve confused myself. From my reading, it is clear that iodine is very important and useful for thyroid conditions, as well as our whole bodies. Is iodine contraindicated in Hashi’s? Does it make it worse? I’ve read that low iodine shows up with cystic/fibrosing conditions in the thyroid (goiter), breasts, ovaries, and uterus initially. Then can lead to cancer later - which completely describes my story. I do have Hashi’s antibodies. I am interested in adding iodine. Any info on this? Specific sites, references?
