Getting Dressed and uindressed

A friend asked me this and I don't know really know

what to tell her since I didn't work on this.

She asked me to forward it to others who have been

through it. I am not sure if it is an age thing (the child

is 5.5) or if it is a chaining thing or... Any ideas

would be appreciated, I will forward them on to her.

Question:

Simple question... seems to be stuck on gestural prompts for getting

dressed and undressed. Maybe I need to go back to pictures...I don't know. He

knows how to get undressed and dressed....it is a matter of initiation. He is

waiting for me to cue him and he is not readily responding to verbals alone. I

would like to get to the point of just telling him...get undressed

and then Get dressed. Thanks! Diane
