I think I might have read a post saying that your calcium levels > were a little off a, Yes, my calcium was at the bottom of normal or a bit low, depending on which set of normal values one uses. My parathyroid was very high, though, and that is a concern since it means I need more calcium. I have been quite good with my supplements, missing perhaps one or two doses per week of calcium. I have been put on calcitriol by dr.K for this. I mean, I should start it tomorrow, it had to be ordered for me since we didn't have that exact dose in our pharmacy at work. The thing I am doing wrong is drinking coffee and tea, if you can call it wrong. Marta
Guest guest
OH CRAP!!!!!!! Is drinking tea somewthing we can't do. Guest guest
a, Tea contains oxalates which bind with calcium and prevent intestinal absorption. I am fully aware of this, but started drinking it again anyway. Did I mention I drink very little actual water? Mostly I drink water only in the car. I love tea and have at least six different types on hand at all times. Sob! I am burning my candle at both ends, that is why I am up so late. Marta > OH CRAP!!!!!!!
