Guest guest
Thanks for the welcome - I was feeling a bit lost here, but can see everyonre is busy posting and helping others. No biggie! I was impressed with the amount of members oin the group which is one of the reasons I wanted to join. I am getting a lot of info but still have questions on using oral morphine and avinza to get me through the withdrawls from the Duragesic patch. Anyone who can explainthe withdrawl process to me and what meds are good for it - please please let me know. I have the Avinza (60mg) and Morphine (forgot dosage) but havent started taking them yet becaue my Dr. wasnt real clear on how and since then said he can no longer manage my pain meds for me. He's my regular GP. I found a pain clinic about 1.5 hrs from where I live and its the only one, but they cant see me until he refers me. So, here I am - I have to keep using the patch until I know how to use the withdrawl meds. I am stretching the patches as far and few inbetween as I can. Right now I am about every 2 days before the withdrawl kicks in. Oh well - scared and confused, Nikki

Just a thought. Good Luck. Ann
