Guest guest
Does anyone use medication to help with the hyperactivity and the impulsivity. has been on adderall for a couple of years now to help him with school. With me medication he can stay in his seat It also helps to keep him on task somewhat. The teacher still has to give directions 3 or 4 times before understands what to do. He also takes Remeron to help put on weight and stabilize his mood. I do not want to give him any medication if I can help it. I went to school today to watch the May Day celebration. It made me cry to see my son with no emotions on his face. He was just sitting their. All the other kids were laughing and talking. Not my he was just their. He very rarely interacts with other children. I try to encourage him to go play with the other kids. He tells me he is to scarred. Even if I was to go with him he would not go. We go to the park my three year old will play with everyone not he will go sit on a swing by himself. It makes my cry. I want him to be happy. Any suggestions.
