Guest guest
No, I've never had that specific problem, but I can empathize with the pain you must be feeling. I had scar tissue wrapped around the radial nerve and blood vessels and it nearly drove me crazy before and sometimes after surgery. I have neck/shoulder/arm problems too, but am now dealing with a great chronic pain doctor who has done a couple of radio frequency neurotomies on my neck. They lessened certain pain areas considerably. We are still discussing surgical options for the future as the bony growths are impinging parts of my spinal cord. But I am so sick of iffy surgeries, that I am holding off on this one. Have you only seen the one neurosurgeon? This may be the time to seek out a couple of others and see what they think about your problems. It has been my experience that one surgeon's decision may not necessarily be the right decision. -- Lyndi
