Guest guest
To everybody, All your kind words and upbuilding sentiments lifted me up so much. I put into immediate action most of the advice. I spoke with a psychologist Monday afternoon, she was part of the team managing my daughter who is having an acute stage (due to medication change) of her schizophrenia, I had to watch her so she wouldn't get admitted into hospital and to keep her safe. The psychologist was super, couldn't have done enough for me. Offered me more than I thought was possible. One thing she offered which I am taking up on is a weekend away at a women's retreat fully paid for by the government slush fund for careers or friends of patients. Yay!! Also a course af anti depressants. A 4 week course at night to understand mental illness a bit better than I am. and a couple of support groups I can join. Plus, they will at anytime book my daughter in for a week at this place for young people where they do tons of great activities together, and go to the pictures and outings ect... It's great to know there is so much out there, and it's great that i've tapped into it. Thanks you everyone. I'll also get that menopause thing checked out too. So just letting you know all your letters were taken on board and acted on and these are the results so far. Not bad ay. :-) Sharon. Not crying as much now. And feeling a bit more in control too.
