Guest guest
Hi Dot, , lie and Group, With the growth of the Group we are finding more and more people who have been diagnosed with EN that don't fit the typical EN mold. Also many doctors will give a diagnosis of "panniculitis" which just means the biopsy report shows fat inflammation.... Kind of a "generic" rather than "brand name" diagnosis. It's for this reason that I continue to welcome all people who have been told they have EN and PG along with those who have only been told they have panniculitis. We notice many overlapping symptoms, and as lie mentioned there are many meds/treatments that help us regardless of the specific diagnosis our doctors have given us. This Group is about helping each other, and when you have as many members as we do, you are more likely to find somebody else who is dealing with something similar to yourself. By "going off on a tangent" once in a while we may very well find somehting that will help many of us, so please don't hesitate to ask for help even if you don't exactly fit in.
