Guest guest
Helen mom to Matt(cvid)13yo The kids know. I look at the picture of the RinoFlow and think how barbaric it looks. I think of a Waterpik for the sinuses and I think -yuck. I think of the IVIG every 4 weeks and think my god how these kids go on. I am reminded that they know what makes them feel better. That they know best when it comes to what helps. Thanks . I will look into the RinoFlow. Helen
Guest guest
Helen, I know it looks barbaric, but Zach loves it. Tonight he was talking w/his Grandpa on the phone and Grandpa had a cold. I overheard him saying, too bad you don't live close Grandpa, I have this new machine I use to clean out my sinuses and it makes me feel alot better. If you were here, I would show you how to use it and you would feel better... It sprays a really fine mist into the nose. And the idea is to breathe in through the mist. I tried it myself and it does not hurt at all, not even the slightest bit uncomfortable. Not like the water pic!!! To All...I have a cute story to share...the other day we had to do for a blood draw, basic CBC's, thyroid & pancreas function...anyways as we left Zach said...I would do 100 IVIG's over a blood draw any day! I hate getting my blood drawn.... I said why honey? That seemed much easier to me, it only took one stick, no veins blown and it was done in less than a minute. IVIG takes so long and we have trouble w/your veins?...he said well Mom, the way I see it is that when I get blood taken I leave with nothing, when I get IVIG I leave and I feel much better for alot of days.... It's statements like these that make me know that IVIG is right for him.... Wife to Tom, Mom to 6 yr Zach, ???(don't know the specific type) PID, GERD, chronic sinusitis, IVIG, At 08:51 PM 4/25/99 EDT, you wrote: >From: HBDOEM@... > >Helen mom to Matt(cvid)13yo >The kids know.
