Guest guest
Dear Jan, I need a new thyroid doctor in the Houston area. My doctor whom I have recommended is awful. He wrote me a letter and told me that since I required long term care that he could no longer see me. I called to have the records forwarded to a friend who is a doctor and his staff said that they could not talk to me because I was no longer his patient. I had sent a letter requesting the records and was following up. The complaints could go on and on but I won't bore you. I just believe that he is cutting back to 2 days a week and doesn't care. He messed up my prescriptions over and over again and had me do a 1 day urine test and when I showed up at the office the next day to turn it in, he nor his staff wasn't even there. He said, "Why are you outside my office?" I said, "You told me to turn this over to you at this time." His response was to leave it outside his office door. Yeah, it needs to be refrigerated. Any suggestions? He put me on a generic thyroid for Armour and says that he doesn't even trust having his patients use it. Anyone out there used Dr. feld or Dr. Hotze? I need an appointment in September. Oh my ex-doctor's name is Dr. Lawrence Mallette on Wednesbury in Houston. Thanks so much.Kathy Wesselink Subject: Offlist EmailsTo: Texas_Thyroid_Groups Date: Friday, July 10, 2009, 5:16 PM Hi, All!Someone has reported an offlist email response to their post.
