o.k. here's a question. Maybe you can help with this one Rferris. My

10 yr old is dx with adhd, odd(oppositional defiant disorder), and an

ld in writing. My 3 little guys are 3, 4, and 5, and they are

autistic and pdd. I'm thinking my 10 yr. old might be

aspergers. I talked to his psychologist and he disagrees, but I'm not

convinced. I know more about autism, adhd, and learning disabilities

than I do about aspergers. I'm still kind of learning about this.So

What are the symptoms for a definition of aspergers? Here is a

description of my kid. He's not good in social situations, very shy.

He's very smart and has good verbal skills. He has trouble with

handwriting, and is uncoordinated. He has alot of sensory problems

going on. He also has trouble making eye contact with people. I know

alot of times aspie kids can be dx with adhd. So I would like to gain

some more knowledge, because I feel he might have aspergers. Anyone

that can help me out here, feel free to jump in. Also anyone have any

websites about aspergers? Someone mentioned about weighted vests, and

brushing ,etc. We just are starting the diet with my kids. We have

them off all meds and on natural suppliments, and we just started

brushing therapy. The brushing therapy seems to be working. My 4 and

5 yr olds now bring me the brush when they feel stressed out. So far

so good. Well sorry to be so long winded. I better shut up now and

give someone else room to talk, lol. Hope all of you are having a

great day and God bless, Sharon
