Guest guest
I was chatting with my bro the other day and we remembered the scariest thing… Nada had a recording device on the phone---she listened to our adolescent phone calls!!!!!! We finally figured it out and started speaking in code or talking on the phone when my parents were out when we could turn it off. Nada kept the dXXX thing under her dresser in her bedroom, but you could see the little red light under there. Even when I unplugged it, I was always afraid she had a backup recorder. Before we knew of the tape recorder, we thought the woman was psychic. Turns out she was just crazy. Another little memory- when cell phones came out in the 80's (they were massive), my dad got one b/c he was a doctor and got paged for emergencies and such . On his way home from work, he always called the 2nd line (no recorder on that line and only family used that number). I always answered. He would ask what was for dinner. Then he would say, " How's the mood? " I would either say, " Yeah, school was great " (meaning coast is clear, Nada seems chipper) OR " Uhm, yeah, it should be ready by 7ish. " (meaning the barometric pressure is rising, Nada storm is brewing.) Weird. Blessings,

Guest guest
We better contact the DSM-IV guys, LOL- this is strange, my mother did the same damn thing. I always was so frustrated by her " I have a headache, whaaaaaaaa " and then screaming about cooking and then isolating herself. Then my dad would try to prod her, and prod her, and prod her, every single Sunday. Are BPs on a weekly schedule?
