Guest guest
Dear list, Question in my ongoing insurance fight. Is Igenex the only lab that does the LUAT? They are denying our tests because it is not an approved lab by our insurance company. But I say they are the only one that does the LUAT and hold the patent. Am I correct? This whole thing would explain why I just got a bill from BBII. Couldn't figure out why. Now, what do we do with the LUATs? Do we still mail them to Igenex? I am confused as daughter is finishingup her LUAT next weekend when she comes home from college. Don't want to waste it. Guest guest
Call Dr. Nick at Igenex 800-832-3200. If he is not in, leave a voicemail message. He WILL call you back and explain the situation. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Hi & Jean! My comments were to the chemical ibuprofen, not any particular brand name, and were equally to all similar acting NSAID's as ibuprofen, including aspirin. To my knowledge, limited as it is, the NSAID's as a class all have a similar action until you get to the new COX-2 inhibitors. I did not comment on those and have no particular information about them other than what has been posted and/or is available on the net or in a new PDR. I did not man to imply " ibuprofen " was any more, nor less, dangerous than other NSAID's, but that they as a class have many problems, as does ibuprofen in particular but peculiarly. Guest guest
for those enquiring about genetic pre-dispositions to JRA I hope that soon I may spread some light for you. As a participant in the JRA research being conducted at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital by Dr. Glass, I hope to learn a bit more myself when I attend our firt meeting - post-research- on November 13. I will keep all posted ok... Donna
Guest guest
To Preguntona, In response to your concerns about appropriate greetings with your new children you are touching on issues of rapport building and professionalism. It is always important when starting at a new job to make sure that you become aware of the " party line " of your work place. Speak to a supervisor and ask he/she what an appropriate way to address patients with whom you work would be. Additionally, I would want to know the age of the patients with whom you work. It may be more appropriate to refer to a two year old as " honey or sweetie " than a six or seven year or child as such (not too mention what it might do for rapport building). If the feedback you get from your staff is inconclusive, I would suggest using the child's name and as you and she develop rapport start using additional terms to attract her attention and to facilitate her communication. Guest guest
Dear SSRI Groupies, They have also set up a court for the mentally ill here in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is suppose to prevent those people that end up in jail an alternative to being in jail. They are suppose to refer these people to agency's and then monitor them for a certain time period. I am not sure how long. They featured one young lady that bi-polar that has been placed in the program. Personnaly I think that this is just another way to control people that hace been labeled by the system as being mentally ill. Everyone please have a blessed day and Happy Mothers day to the moms. My prayers are with all. Jasper Pennington jasper1@... Re: Re: It's OK For a Doctor to Murder Your Kid...
