Unless you are talking about glutithione, which is a brain needed chemical but I think that can come from other sources. Or if you are talking about food combining to get protein to absorb. But the elimination of dairy products actually enhances this as the fat in dairy inhibits protein absorbtion for meats. (I actually think that is why the kosher laws exsisted (they were based on digestion of milk over digestion of meat) anyway any diet done wrong has detrimental effects. Men use meat to function( I have found it is tied to heat production and circulation) In a class once 17 years ago cooked meat was credited with allowing us to come out of the trees and establish camps) Literally it led to social settings and group behavior(eating together) meat eating is tied to our evolution, it is our current state of evolution that is chaning this into a choice. Literally the manufacture of protein(which was impossible in cave times) We would have had to be the size of gorillas to eat enough to live on a veg diet. anyway as I said any diest without sense and research is just as likely to make you sick as fast food every day. Excess, not taking your nutrition into your own hands. so pretty much most of america that relies on companies to feed us. I mean all the restaraunts and all the already produced means. I think pepperage farms was the worst offender from a fat and salt ratio. Also a lot of " healthy snacks " are gimmicks to keep you fat and or buying their product. On the Lie scale Food may be Number 1. americans are having their lives cut short by all the companies not really caring about health but looking for $. i could go on and on but I am sure people dislike the topic of food deception

They may benefit from it. Do not censor yourself based on what you think people want to hear. Tom Administrator

High fructose corn syrup and chemicals even natural flavorings and coloring are ways the industry puts non food in your food. many candies have metals in them (especially mexican candy) that for some reason is made with lead so beware of ethnic grocers. Antibiotics in our food is why antibiotics when they are perscribed don't work as well. anything given to an animal is present in it's flesh (like fish and mercury) so feed an animal bad or tainted feed and like DDT and people get it because they ingest the food. I think people can eat what they like as long as it is actually food. The processed food industry has a vested intresed in us not cooking, accepting longer shelf lives, and eating chemicals rather than expensive actual food ingreadients (the taste of food dulls over time but chemicals extend that) especially msg(in many canned prepared foods) well I said I was going to be short---- bow and arrow That's short. hee hee

Guest guest
Reading this I am suddenly reminded of what I call 'pretend chocolate'. I am not overly fond of most of what passes for chocolate, mostly fat and sugar, or in some cases reading the label, 'chocolate flavouring' (what I call pretend chocolate). However I do like what I consider proper chocolate, that has a high cocoa content, I prefer the dark stuff that by many is considered bitter (I quite like the rich taste). I don't eat a lot of the stuff, but a little of the good stuff I find much more satisfying than the high sugar, fat, chocolate flavoured rubbish. > > > > " i could go on and on but I am sure people dislike the topic of > food > > deception " > > > > It's worth giving people your opinion though. I seem to prefer tastes that most people cannot stand in regard to certain foods, but at the same time, I cannot stand what most other people eat.
