I was 21 when I came down with EN for the first time too. Today I am

58. I was misdiagneosed for the first 5 yrs., and there were no drugs

for EN then, even if they knew what I had. I have found that bedrest

works well for me, but we are all different. I have found that if I

don't allow the remission to become " solid " it can flare up again.

Many of us have used prednisone, and we are happy to talk about it and

other treatments. Above all, do not worry. Stress can make EN worse

for many of us. And once the major tests are done to rule out serious

illness, you can rest easy in your mind at least. When your daughter

feels better she may wish to join the group too. We are a big happy

and supportive family here. Welcome!

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have

EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group. I have a 21

year old daughter who has recently been diagnosed with this..As a

parent i'm very worried because i know nothing about this disease

6. List any other health conditions. No other health problems

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness: she has been givin steriod sots..it started to clear up

and came right back..Right now she has 2 pain meds..laratab and

vicadin...and she started on prednisone tonight

8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG?diagnosed 1 month ago

9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? Notices the lumps on

the legs about 3 months ago
