Guest guest
There is a book by Dr. Brownstein called Iodine. Sometimes iodine makes Hashi worse. Sometimes it helps. I would be a good idea to work with a doc who routinely uses it. Dr. Spurlock mentioned that he likes to use iodine. He will not be using it with me, however, because I am a thyroid cancer patient. >> I think I¹ve confused myself.> > From my reading, it is clear that iodine is very important and useful for> thyroid conditions, as well as our whole bodies.> > Is iodine contraindicated in Hashi¹s? Does it make it worse?> > I¹ve read that low iodine shows up with cystic/fibrosing conditions in the> thyroid (goiter), breasts, ovaries, and uterus initially. Then can lead to> cancer later - which completely describes my story.> > I do have Hashi¹s antibodies. I am interested in adding iodine. Any info> on this?
