Guest guest
Hi, I guess my main point about letters is that I felt good that I got everything out in that one letter. I summarized as well as I could what things were like growing up with her and how it affected me and how I felt about it and I was not tiptoeing around and trying not to offend. I spelled it out without being abusive, but I didn't sugarcoat it either (nada never sugarcoated for me) and even though I had to deal with the drama of the aftermath, later I felt good that I had said all I wanted to, even if she didn't acknowledge a word of it. It was freeing and empowering, ultimately.
